When students enrol in our primary 4 Math tuition, they will develop essential skills and techniques aligned with the MOE syllabus, preparing them for academic success. Our programme focuses on these critical areas:
Students will master reading, writing, comparing, and ordering numbers up to 100,000. This crucial skill builds a strong foundation for tackling more complex numerical problems with confidence.
Our Math tuition equips P4 students to confidently apply multiplication (up to 4 digits by 1 digit, 3 digits by 2 digits) and division (up to 4 digits by 1 digit). They will also solve challenging 3-step word problems involving all four operations.
Students will delve into mixed numbers, improper fractions, and their relationships, including addition and subtraction of fractions. By signing up for our primary 4 Math tuition, they will also gain proficiency in decimals up to 3 decimal places, covering notation, place values, and operations.
Students will learn to calculate the area and perimeter of composite figures made of squares and rectangles, and understand concepts of angles and symmetry.
Students of our P4 Math tuition classes will develop skills in reading, interpreting, and completing data in tables and line graphs. This fundamental statistical understanding enhances their ability to analyse and present information clearly and effectively.
Students will be introduced to the concept of angles, learning to identify, measure in degrees, and draw angles of a given size. They will also understand line symmetry, including identifying symmetric figures and lines of symmetry.
